Position: Assistant Actuary
Location: Midwest
General Responsibilities:
1. Involved in the analysis of risk in the portfolios of mutual funds and annuities 2. Be responsible for developing and running a variety of reports to measure fund performance, attribution analysis, etc. 3. Pull together the fund mapping grid, and working with the various modeling areas to implement the grid. 4. Occasional travel to meet with fund managers may be required.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field with five years experience 2. Master degree with 3 years experience 3. ASA or equivalent professional designation required. 4. Strong communication and analytical skills with a strong understanding of statistics. 5. Ability to perform accurately under pressure. 6. CFA, FSA, CERA, CAIA designations are a plus 7. MBA or Masters in a quantitative field is a plus |
